BE POSITIVE TOWARDS LIFE

Positivity - the root of happiness, success, dreams, and everything good in life. Positive thinking is a mindset where we focus on the favorable outcome of something. It boosts our self-confidence and gives us the energy to transform our dream into reality.

To have a positive attitude in life it's important to understand the fine line between negativity and criticism. Because criticism is also needed in life to upgrade ourselves. Being negative is a different thing. It includes things like tagging someone or something as 'bad' without knowing it properly....saying no to anything new because we are afraid of taking chances. We have people around us who never try anything new in life and always up to ruin others' spirits to do something new. This is the negativity I am talking about. 

On the other hand, criticism helps you to add new features in yourself. It gives you suggestions on what more can be done and what can make a loss to you...then it's up to us how much we will apply to ourselves but this criticism is necessary.  Sometimes we count good suggestions from people as poking their nose in our life....but that is not the case always...there are good people too. Unfortunately, we are in such a generation where it's hard to believe someone as our well-wisher. Basically, we need to define the vibe....positive or negative.

When criticism disrespect you then count it as negativity and avoid it. Criticism is healthy if it suggests without hurting or disrespecting anyone.

Ways to Stay Positive :

1. STOP BEING JUDGEMENTAL :

This is the worst habit we human beings have. We love to pass comments without knowing anything at all and also we find ourselves very hurt when someone else does the same. It's our ego, pride, the anger of being judged as wrong and a lack of understanding that make us judgemental. We forget to respect others. This attitude has to be stopped if we want a positive attitude towards life. And by stop judging, we also stop caring about what others think about us. It's okay if you don't understand others' points of view....avoid it...but do not disrespect them.

2. FIND THE GOOD IN EVERYTHING :

Find positive, good things among the worsts. Stop seeing a half-filled glass as half empty. We are facing new problems every single day. It's possible to deal with them only if we focus on the good side of it. When life is giving challenges....let's see it as a new milestone in our sack of experience instead of nagging about it.

3. CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE :

Try to see a situation from a different angle. We see whatever we were thinking of....think positive..then you will see the positivity in anything. Think from a different point of view...problems will fail to affect you.

4. FIND SOLUTION RATHER THAN COMPLAINING :

Problems are always there in life. Just look at the situation right now.....it's been six months with this terrible covid-19....our life is at stake. But there is a  huge change...in the beginning, we were staying at home and now we are giving a fightback to the situation by stepping out with precaution. This is life. In every challenge there are two options - keep moving forward or stop right there. Just choose to keep going and you will find the solution for sure.

5. ANALYSE YOURSELF :

 It's very important that we do analyze our activities because they are the reflection of what we are and why we are. Self-analysis makes one confess his guilt in front of his inner self. By doing this one can control their bad tendencies because there will be a fear to face their conscience.

6. LAUGH AT YOURSELF :

Imagine you have got a different haircut and your friends are laughing at you. Instead of being hopeless and sad, just laugh with them and take it sportively. After a certain time, they will stop laughing. It's human nature...when we see something is triggering a person we keep repeating that in the name of fun or to hurt that person knowingly. Every time you will laugh at yourself....you will avoid the negativity around you.

7. KEEP EGO ASIDE :

Ego - a problem almost we all have in our life. Too much ego does not allow a person to recognize himself and put him in an unhealthy competition of winning. Ego is a hindrance in the way of positivity. Positivity can never stay along with ego. Don't let ego overpower yourself.

8. AVOID NEGATIVITY : 

Avoid those things, situations, or people around which your negative thoughts get triggered. If something is affecting you it's okay to keep a distance from it if possible. We are not on duty to correct everything right? Today's lifestyle has already given so much on the plate....there should be no guilt to accept 'avoiding' as a solution sometimes.

9. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF :

Self-caring implies prioritize yourself in the first place which is very much needed in today's lifestyle. It is preparing yourself properly to manage the responsibilities and duties of life. It prepares one to balance his activities and above all, it gives you the magical power of happiness to make others happy. And happiness is the main door of positivity.

10. LIVE FOR YOURSELF :

Living for yourself simply means living that version of life that you have dreamt of. Don't shape it with others' opinions about you. Be yourself and do what you love. Be good to others and live on your own terms of happiness.

11. BE THANKFUL TO LIFE :

The best gift of life in our life is 'life' itself. Don't take it for granted. Waking up every day is the best bliss one can have. Make the most out of every day. Live every day.

These were some little suggestions to have a positive attitude in life. In a nutshell ' think positive to be positive '. Our activities are the reflection of our thoughts. Whenever we think something - positive, negative both of them come to mind. It's up to us which one we want to let overpower our thought process. Strike a balance among positivity, negativity, and reality. Whatever we think positive or negative there is one more truth- reality. Understand the reality... strain out the positivity...don't let the negative portion affect you. Just smile and carry on.
